StarwoodPro Offers Upselling Module
The recent launch of Crossover Rewards, a joint effort of Delta Airlines and Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG), marks the first alliance between two travel companies to unite rewards earned at the hotels with those earned in the air. This effort represents a desire by both companies to recognize their most valuable guests and build lifelong relationships.
What distinguishes this program from others is that it allows travelers at every stage of their trips to earn both points and miles, rather than to choose between them. Another highlight of the program is that SPG Platinum Members and Ambassadors will now be treated as Delta Elites and, as such, will be entitled to priority check-in and boarding with one free checked bag. Reciprocally, Delta Diamond and Platinum Members will be treated as SPG Gold Members, entitled to SPG check-in, late checkout and complimentary high-speed Internet access. SPG Elites will earn incremental Starpoints for flying with Delta, and Delta Medallions will earn incremental SkyMiles for staying with Starwood. www.spgpromos.com/crossoverrewards
