Hilton Worldwide has reinforced its commitment to continue expansion plans in Latin America

Hilton Worldwide has reinforced its commitment to continue expansion plans in Latin America. Currently, Hilton boasts 45 hotels and resorts throughout the continent, with the addition of three this year. By the end of 2013, the company expects to surpass 60 hotels, with additions in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Panama and Peru.

“Hilton has a strategic commitment to expand globally, and Latin America is a high priority target for our expansion,” said Bill Fortier, senior vice president, development for the Americas. “With recent openings added to our regional portfolio and new developments added to our pipeline, we are fully committed to the region.”

Hotels slated for 2011 openings are Hilton Bogota in Colombia; Hampton Inn by Hilton Ciudad del Carmen and DoubleTree by Hilton Saltillo in Mexico and DoubleTree by Hilton Panama City in Panama. www.hiltonworldwide.com
