MGM Resorts International recently launched 12 free hotel apps for guests using Google's Android operating system and is planning to launch the same apps for Research In Motion's BlackBerry operating system next month. Previously, these apps were only available to iPhone users.

Participating resorts featured in the apps include Aria Resort & Casino, Bellagio, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, The Mirage, Monte Carlo, New York-New York, Luxor, Excalibur, Circus Circus and Beau Rivage. With the apps, guests can obtain hotel information through their smartphones, allowing MGM Resorts International to directly reach out to clients with offers as well as to receive feedback from clients.

MGM Resorts International has also released an Entertainment of Las Vegas app that allows users to view video previews, show times, event calendars, directions and purchase tickets to all of MGM Resorts International's Las Vegas shows and attractions.
