Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. has announced that Sheraton Hotels is investing more than $350 million in enhancements of its worldwide properties. Several large-scale renovation projects will be unveiled this year, including a $160 million renovation of the Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers, a multimillion-dollar refurbishment of the Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa in Edinburgh and the $20 million transformation of Australia’s Sheraton Mirage Resort & Spa Gold Coast. Several other Sheraton hotels will also undergo multimillion-dollar renovations this year, including the Sheraton Rio Hotel & Resort in Brazil, the Sheraton Maria Isabel Hotel & Towers in Mexico City and, in China, the Great Wall Sheraton Hotel Beijing, the Sheraton Xian Hotel and more.
