This year, Idaho’s Brundage Mountain Resort will celebrate its 21st annual Winter Games on March 19 and 20. Competitions are available for all ages and abilities, and the whole family is encouraged to participate in the festivities.
The Children & Juniors Recreational Alpine Giant Slalom will be open for children ages 3 to 18 years old; the Mitey Mite Giant Slalom will be open for adults; and the Physically Challenged Giant Slalom will be open to physically challenged adults and children.
On Sunday, March 20, the all-new Freestyle Jam competition will be open to snowboarders and skiers who don’t mind showing off and getting creative on the slopes.
A race clinic will also be held at Brundage Mountain Resort on the Sunday before the games (March 13) for competitors to sharpen their skills in preparation for the main events. There is no charge to attend the clinic.
In related news, on March 27, Brundage Mountain Resort will host a Family Day during which moms and kids under the age of 17 will receive free lift tickets.
