Summer Fun at Shore Lodge

The Idaho resort features activities for the whole family

Shore Lodge’s Camp Sharlie’s second summer season runs from June 14 to Aug. 28 and offers children recreational activities like swimming, hiking, tennis, golf, martial arts, crafts, kite flying and more. Many of the options take place at the resort’s private beach that includes a water trampoline and full-service marina, where guests can take sailing lessons and rent canoes, kayaks and catamarans.

“Camp Sharlie is designed to spark kids’ imagination and challenge them creatively, intellectually and physically,” says general manager Dan Scott. “Our certified camp counselors encourage fun and safety while allowing kids to make new friends, try out new activities and create memories that last a lifetime. Plus our kid's camp gives harried parents a little peace and quiet so they can explore the surrounding area on their own or simply relax and unwind at the resort.”

Camp Sharlie is open to children ages 4 to 13 for rates of $40 for a half day, $60 for a full day and $99 for two days. Also included with admission are a Camp Sharlie shirt and lunch.

While the kids are enjoying their summer fun at camp, parents can escape to The Cove, the spa at Shore Lodge. Recently opened, The Cove offers massages, facials and an array of other treatments and services. The property also houses a full-service salon as well as steam rooms, saltwater immersion pools and an outdoor sanctuary.
