Sun Valley Wellness Festival Returns

The annual celebration of health and balance offers a number of activities

The 14th annual Sun Valley Wellness Festival returns to Idaho on May 27-30, at the Sun Valley Inn and Lodge. The event brings together the top speakers and practitioners of mind, body and spirit connection as well as those involved with environmental wellness. This year’s festival is put on by the Sun Valley Wellness Institute, Inc., a nonprofit corporation founded to provide education on health and wellness through programs and events.

Kicking off Thursday night with its opening fire ceremony, the festival proceeds with movement classes, yoga workshops and musical events for three full days. Ticket prices vary for each event or workshop, and entrance into the expo is free and open to the public Saturday through Monday.

This year’s keynote speaker is Gregg Braden, bestselling author and visionary scientist. Braden is known as a pioneer in bridging science and spirituality and will be discussing such issues in Friday evening’s address. The expo includes presentations from experts in nutrition, acupuncture, healing and more, all focusing on a balanced life that nurtures the mind and spirit.
