During TravelAge West’s recent Cruise Connection Webinar, top cruise executives said that one of the best deterrents against policies that hurt the agent distribution system is for agents to refuse booking with certain lines. “At the Royal Caribbean family of brands, we are 100 percent committed to agents and we back that up,” said Dondra Ritzenthaler, senior vice president of sales for Celebrity Cruises.
“Travel agents need to speak up with their bookings.
