Sabre and American Airlines Reach Settlement

Sabre Travel Network and American Airlines have announced that the two companies have settled their disputes and renewed their current distribution agreement for multiple years

Sabre Travel Network and American Airlines have announced that the two companies have settled their disputes and renewed their current distribution agreement for multiple years. In addition, American has agreed to negotiate with Sabre for additional technology services in the future. American will also continue pursing its direct connect initiative. As part of the settlement between the companies, American will receive a monetary payment from Sabre. Terms of the settlement and distribution agreements require review and approval by the court presiding over AMR Corporation’s restructuring procedures and further information will be announced at a later date. www.aa.com; www.sabretravelnetwork.com
