Signature Travel Network is aiming to boost sales and generate awareness of upcoming property openings and major reopenings of hotels with the launch of its new “First” hotel sales marketing program. The “First” program is kicking off with El Encanto by Orient-Express, scheduled to reopen in Santa Barbara in March 2013.
“Signature clients will be in the know regarding this wonderful resort and all it has to offer starting March of next year. We have an ambitious plan under development to support the reopening of this very unique property, including electronic and print consumer marketing, communications, sales training for our front-line consultants and more,” said Ignacio Maza, Signature’s executive vice president.
The restored El Encanto property will feature 92 California-style bungalows, acres of gardens and sweeping views of Santa Barbara and the Pacific Ocean.
In related news, Orient-Express has also appointed Mark Kerwin as director of leisure sales. Laura McIver has been chosen to lead El Encanto as its general manager. www.signaturetravelnetwork.com
