With the 2013 inauguration just around the corner, Washington D.C., hotels are preparing for the influx of visitors that the important event will bring to the nation’s capital. With a focus on welcoming spaces, chic decor and special amenities, the area’s new and renovated properties invite visitors to book a room for inauguration weekend, Jan. 18-22.

“Since the 2009 inauguration, more than $250 million has been invested to refresh hotels throughout Washington, D.C.,” said Elliott L.
