Fairmont Raffles Hotels International (FRHI) appointed Michael Glennie to the position of president and chief operating officer. Glennie will be responsible for the global operations of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Raffles Hotels & Resorts and Swissotel Hotels & Resorts and will hold key roles in the areas of financial performance, strategic planning and owner relations. Glennie will also work with the development team to carry out a new growth strategy.
“For many years now, Michael has been a prominent member of our senior leadership team and has been instrumental in establishing FRHI as a key player in the luxury hotel market,” said William Fatt, chairman and chief executive officer, FRHI.
