America’s Vacation Center/Avoya Travel (AVC) has appointed Steve Hirshan as vice president of sales support and Scott Koepf as vice president of sales.
Hirshan will lead and expand support programs for the company’s network of independent affiliates. Previously, he worked as director of sales, a role in which he significantly enhanced the sales volume and commissions of AVC. Prior to joining the company in 2007, Hirshan was an independent affiliate for two years. Koepf will continue to grow AVC’s network of travel professionals; develop new sales, training and coaching programs; and increase the company’s services in his new role as vice president of sales. Koepf previously served as the president of the National Association of Career Travel Agents (NACTA), a division of ASTA, and held positions with Sabre Holdings and Cruise Holidays International. He is also a sales trainer and a motivational speaker.
