Schafer Joins Oberoi Group

She takes the reins as vice president corporate sales, the Americas

The Oberoi Group has appointed Elizabeth Schafer as vice president corporate sales, the Americas. In her new role, Schafer is in charge of overseeing the group’s relationship with key corportate customers and all channels of corporate and business travel from the Americas. She is based in New York City, and her immediate focus is to develop and implement a comprehensive corporate sales strategy in the Americas that encompasses both the Oberoi and Trident hotels.

Schafer’s experience in the hotel industry spans more than 20 years. She joins The Oberoi Group from her position as associate regional director of sales for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. Prior to her work with the Four Seasons in New York City, she held the position of associate regional director in the company’s Los Angeles worldwide sales office. Before moving to Los Angeles, she was a sales manager at the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago, Four Seasons Hotel Washington D.C. and the Four Seasons Clift Hotel in San Francisco.
