Signature Travel Network hosts a record number of participants at its annual Sales Meeting & Trade Show

Signature Travel Network welcomed a record number of more than 1,100 consultants and over 700 supplier partners to its annual Sales Meeting & Trade Show held at the MGM Grand Las Vegas last month. Suppliers and members gathered for three days of meetings, workshops, roundtables, networking events, entertainment and a keynote address by motivational speaker Connie Podesta.
“I was a little concerned about what kind of attendance we would get this year because we had a few things working against us, including Hurricane Sandy and the Athena snow storm,” said chief operating officer and executive vice president Alex Sharpe, “but every seminar I went to, people were so engaged with the program that they were spilling out of the meeting rooms.”
According to Sharpe, the network is expanding by recruiting new members as well as by adding 78 new partners in touring, cruising, destinations, hotels and resorts. And, in terms of same store growth, Signature has grown preferred supplier sales by 17 percent in 2012 alone. Next year’s event will be held Nov. 14-16.
