Silversea Cruises announced the appointment of Ellen Bettridge as president of the Americas. Bettridge will head the cruise line’s Fort Lauderdale, Fla., office starting on April 9. She will report to Kenneth W. Watson, the company’s chief operating officer.
Most recently, Bettridge served as vice president of the American Express U.S. Retail Travel Network. She had been with American Express for 20 years, working as a travel counselor, an account development executive, a field performance manager in corporate services and a director of account development in corporate services.
