The 320 Guest Ranch, located near Big Sky, Mont., in the Gallatin River Valley, recently announced its Keeping It Cowboy Package for summer 2010. The package includes:

• Four nights lodging in a Deluxe Room with two queen beds
• Monday night pig roast, including dinner and drinks
• Hot and hearty cowboy breakfast buffet each morning
• Choice of two ranch activities, including a Quick Fix Horseback Ride (one hour); the Montana Experience Horseback Ride (two hours); the 320 Western Style Hayride and Barbecue on the Gallatin River (on Wednesday evenings); fly-fishing lesson (one hour); and two-hour horseback ride to the 320 Western Style BBQ on the Gallatin River (Wednesday evenings; counts as two activities).

The Keeping It Cowboy four-night package is $780 for two people, including taxes. Additional guests are $94 per person — for example, a family of four would be $968. The package is available from June 13 to Sept. 17, and requires a Sunday or Monday check-in with a four-night minimum stay. The package represents a 33 percent savings over standard rate pricing.

The Gallatin River, one of the world’s top Blue Ribbon trout streams, runs directly through the historic 320 Guest Ranch and the picturesque Gallatin Mountains surround the property. Yellowstone National Park is just 30 minutes away, as well.
