Big Sky Resort, Mont., is trying to trying to promote itself as a superb setting for meetings, conventions and business travel. Along with free wireless Internet service throughout the core of the Mountain Village and a variety of lodging options, Big Sky offers numerous activities. Also, increased air service into the Bozeman Airport makes access to the mountains easier for staff, speakers and guests to meet in Montana. Bozeman has nonstop flights from 11 cities including major airline hubs with conducive, connecting flight schedules.

Big Sky Resort’s Mountain Village and Yellowstone Conference Center provide over 55,000 square feet of meeting space and professional conference planners can be provided by Big Sky to meet any needs. Meeting goers have over a dozen different choices of lodging, including hotel rooms, luxury suites, newly remodeled condominium suites, townhomes and cabins.

The resort hosts over 200 groups a year ranging from small retreats to large conferences. And the conference center is receiving $230,000 in upgrades before the summer 2009 season.

Big Sky visitors have access to the Solace Spa, scenic lift rides, the Big Sky Zipline, mountain biking, hiking and Kid’s Club. Also, courtesy of Montana’s landscape and natural environment, world-class fly-fishing, whitewater rafting, horseback riding and golf on an 18-hole Arnold Palmer designed course are all within walking distance of the resort.
