The famed Going-to-the-Sun Road at Glacier National Park, Mont., will be closed to motor vehicles during the spring and autumn seasons, inviting visitors to ride their bikes, walk or rollerblade in the upper alpine sections of the park, featuring many side trails and hikes.

This exclusive access, complete with on-going reports about the road’s status provided by the National Park Service, allows for private explorations deep into Glacier National Park free of vehicle traffic and park congestion.

Guests are encouraged to visit during the early weeks of May and June or late September to take advantage of this special opportunity.
