The legendary Kingston Trio will headline Livingston’s 9th Annual Outdoor Music Festival July 18-20. The Trio has sold more than 30 million albums and has won multiple Grammy Awards. Their hits — “Tom Dooley,” “Lemon Tree,” “This Land is Your Land” and “Where Have All the Flowers Gone” — inspired a generation and helped launch the folk music revival of the 1950’s and 1960’s.
Sharing the bill will be Montana’s own The Max, The Fossils, Montana Rose and Blackwater, to name a few. Festivities last all day on Saturday and Sunday, and will include tasty food treats, the Libation Station and craft booths. Kids are welcome to enjoy free swimming along with plenty of other activities.
Summerfest 2008 will be held in Livingston’s Sacajawea Park, bordered by the Yellowstone River.
