Ranch at Rock Creek Debuts Spring Adventure
The Ranch at Rock Creek, a new luxury guest ranch in Philipsburg, Mont., is launching two new and improved activities for its guests to enjoy during their stay. To kick off the summer season, the ranch will offer a new state-of-the-art sporting clay course as well as Cowboy Kips, an outdoors experience in luxury napping.
The Ranch welcomes guests to test their trigger fingers with an unlimited supply of ammunition and targets at its new mallard gulch clay course. Designed with all ability levels in mind, this new five-stand course offers 11 different throwers and a virtually limitless number of shots, including teals, bouncing rabbits, flurries and more. Instructors can work with advanced shooters and are also available to lead novice guests through fundamental safety and tips to perfecting shots. Informal competitions will also be organized at the behest of guests.
For the lazier summer days, the ranch offers Cowboy Kips which allows guests to rest during the day without the guilt of forgoing a traditional activity. Six hammocks set riverside or along mountainous settings await participants, who may choose to hike or be dropped off at their selected napping spot. Guests are also equipped with snacks, refreshments, walkie-talkies, emergency instructions and a first-aid kit to protect them from the elements.
