Silver Airways has expanded its Montana route network with the addition of a new weekday service to Helena from Billings, operating twice daily from May 1. This makes the state capital the ninth destination served by Silver Airways in Montana, and marks the first route in Montana to operate outside of the carrier’s Essential Air Service (EAS) contract with the U.S. Department of Transportation.
“We’re providing optimal connections through Billings with these new flights for travelers looking for convenient flight options to Helena from Montana’s eastern regions,” said Darrell Richardson, CEO of Silver Airways. “What makes this announcement so significant is that it is the first time we are adding a service in Montana outside of our EAS contract. This underscores the strength of our commitment to continue to expand our business in Montana and deliver the quality air service our customers have come to expect and trust.”
Special introductory fares will be offered for the month of May, for $75 dollars each way between Billings and Helena.
