Interjet, one of Mexico’s fastest-growing air carriers, launched twice-weekly service between Mexico City and Las Vegas on Nov. 15.
McCarran International Airport marks the fifth U.S. gateway for the airline, which is gearing the new service toward Mexican leisure travelers. Flights operate Thursdays and Sundays, leaving Toluca at 7:50 p.m. and arriving in Las Vegas at 9:45 p.m. The return flight leaves McCarran at 11:40 p.m. and arrives in Toluca at 5:10 a.m. the following day.
Interjet operates 150-passenger Airbus A320 twin-engine jets on the new route. It is also offering some unique passenger perks, including external cameras to allow passengers to watch take-offs and landings, onboard lavatories for women only and 20 percent discounts to senior citizens.
