On Dec. 3, the first ever Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas Stiletto Dash will take place in the Palazzo with host Brooke Burke of “Dancing with the Stars.” At the event, hundreds of women will have the opportunity to put their high heels to good use for a great cause.

The Stiletto Dash, beginning at 5:00 p.m., will consists of a 50-yard-dash in high heels, from the grand lobby of The Palazzo to the casino near Laguna Champagne Bar. Nearly 500 participants are expected, each dressed to the nines in outfits complementing their featured high heels, and competing for a $5,000 first-place purse and other prizes. Participants will also receive a gift bag and an invitation to attend a post-dash party.

Proceeds from the event will benefit two charities: Opportunity Village, a local Las Vegas-based nonprofit organization serving people with intellectual disabilities, and Operation Smile, a nonprofit that treats facial deformities worldwide.

“We are excited to partner with Competitor Group and look forward to Brooke Burke hosting the first ever Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas Stiletto Dash,” said John Caparella, president and COO of The Venetian, The Palazzo and Sands Expo. “This brings a unique and really fun opportunity for our guests to dash through our casino while benefiting two worthy causes.”

The Stiletto Dash will kick off the Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas Marathon and Half-Marathon to benefit the Chron’s & Colitis Foundation, the largest nighttime running event in the world. The marathon will take place on Sunday, Dec. 4, starting at 4:00 p.m. at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.
