Tickets are now available for the 2012 Albuquerque Wine Festival, taking place on Memorial Day weekend, May 26-28. The festival will be at Balloon Fiesta Park, from noon to 6 p.m. daily.

Twenty-three local wineries will showcase their wines at the festival. Guests can sample wines from various New Mexico wineries, shop arts and crafts vendors from all over the Southwest and taste a variety of international foods — all while enjoying the park’s atmosphere. Live entertainment will include music performances by Bad Katz, Felonious Groove Foundation, Calli Shaw, the Noms and others.

Admission is $15 for adults, with a valid photo ID. Anyone under 21 is free of charge but must be accompanied by a parent or a legal guardian. On Monday, active duty and retired military get a $3 discount with a valid photo ID. Buying tickets in advance is recommended.
