New Mexico, one of America’s youngest states, celebrates 100 years of statehood with a plethora of festivals, events and concerts. The Centennial Summerfest, scheduled for June 16, will be Albuquerque’s largest anniversary event with a variety of family friendly activities.

The event will be a day-long celebration of the state’s arts, culture and cuisine. To capture the unique aspects of its culture, the festival will include several stages featuring special performers, such as the Grammy Award-winning group Los Lobos. Other highlights include flamenco dancing, displays of Native American crafts, a classic car show, freshly made tortillas and more.

This free, day-long event will take place in downtown Albuquerque.
