The Dona Ana Arts Council of Las Cruces, N.M., is hosting the 39th Annual Renaissance ArtsFaire from Nov. 6-7 at Young Park in Las Cruces, N.M. from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 6 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 7. 

The annual event will feature more than 150 juried art booths, making it one of the largest juried art shows to be held in southern New Mexico. Featured arts and handicrafts include jewelry, pottery, ceramics, photography, leather goods, paintings, drawings, sculptures, toys, musical instruments and wood carvings.

The two-day festival will also feature live entertainment, in addition to wine tastings at its Imperial Wine Garden. Bird specialists HawkQuest will be on hand to display their birds of prey, and magician Chris Mitchell and comedic juggler Jeffrey Daymont will also be on hand. Attendees can also watch performances from the Outrageous Theatre Company and The Ratcatcher. A special Children’ Realm area will cater to young fair attendees and shoppers can peruse the fair’s Peddler’s Market.

Admission is $5 for adults. Children ages 12 and under are free. Visitors may also purchase a two-day pass for $8 each. Proceeds from the Renaissance ArtsFaire will go to local community art programs and other cultural activities sponsored by the Dona Ana Arts Council.
