From June 3-9, the Albuquerque Film & Media Experience (AFME) at Nob Hill will be introduced to New Mexico.
The new festival will include movies, student-created digital media, art exhibits and food and film events, as well as a series of “Intimate Conversations” with talent from the film and media community. An international program will also spotlight filmmaking and artistry from Israel and the U.K. this year. Top industry names are set to be involved in the event, including Hollywood icon Robert Redford, award-winning actor Giancarlo Esposito and director Joshua Michael Stern, among others.
One highlight of AFME will be a culinary evening called Taste of Film, which will spotlight food inspired by films from AFME’s festival showcase. The six-course food and film event, from the creative mind of Chef Michael Giese, will benefit The Storehouse, a local food pantry.
