For clients looking to get into the holiday spirit, the Las Cruces Railroad Museum is offering a family-friendly event this December. The museum, located in Las Cruces, N.M., will be holding its 5th annual Old-Fashioned Holiday Display on Friday, Dec. 4 from 5-9 p.m.

For the display, Santa will arrive on a decorated Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad diesel engine at 5 p.m. Afterward, guests are welcome to take photos with Santa on the observation deck until 8 p.m. Holiday songs will be performed by the Vista Vibrations Bell Choir, starting at 5:15 p.m. and by the Central Elementary School Choir, beginning at 6:15 p.m. There will also be model trains, light refreshments and a craft project. The museum’s holiday lights will be lit every night through January. The event is free and open to the public, and is presented by the Las Cruces Convention & Visitors Bureau.
