From April 8, 2011, through Aug. 28, 2011, the New Mexico Museum of Art will open a brand-new photography exhibit that celebrates the artwork of numerous American landscape photographers. “Earth Now: American Landscape Photographers and the Environment” will open with suites of images from famed photographers Ansel Adams and Eliot Porter, as well as contemporary photographers Michael Berman, Greg Mac Gregor, Daniel Handal and Subhankar Banerjee.

Before the exhibit officially opens next April, interested art and photography buffs can view images and more at an online “Earth Now” website. The site is designed to engage visitors in conversations with the 12 contemporary landscape photographers who are featured in the online exhibition. Artist interviews, music and reading lists will also be provided on the site, which will remain online through Aug. 28, 2011.
