Restaurant Week Debuts in Santa Fe and Albuquerque, N.M.

Promotion runs from Feb. 28-March 6 in Santa Fe and from March 7-13 in Albuquerque

Santa Fe and Albuquerque, N.M. will host the state’s first Restaurant Week promotion beginning next year, showcasing local restaurants and featuring three-course, prix-fixe dinners for just $25 per person or $25 for two people.

Restaurant Week N.M.: Savor the Flavor…Relish the Price is being organized by Wings Media Network, a Santa Fe-based public relations firm, and it is being supported by the New Mexico Tourism Department, the Santa Fe and Albuquerque Convention & Visitors Bureaus and the New Mexico Lodging Association as well as state and city leaders. More than 60 restaurants and hotels are expected to participate.

Santa Fe will host its Restaurant Week from Feb. 28 to March 6 while Albuquerque will host its Restaurant Week from March 7 to 13. Menus for each participating restaurant in each city will be posted in January on the Restaurant Week Web site ( and diners are encouraged to make reservations in advance.

Event organizer Wings Media Network hopes the promotion will attract visiting foodies to Santa Fe and Albuquerque.

“This event really addresses the growing trend of culinary tourism,” said Wings Media Network president Michele Ostrove. “It will attract many people to Santa Fe and Albuquerque to take advantage of our incredible variety of dining opportunities at a very attractive price. Visitors will be able to stay over at special rates, check out galleries and shops and then try another restaurant the following day.”
