The month of November is full of food events, thanks to the first Santa Fe Harvest Festival, which takes place from Nov. 1 - Nov 23. Showcasing the best of Santa Fe’s culinary offerings, the three-week event features discounts at Santa Fe restaurants, a restaurant relay race, competitions for chefs and bartenders, cooking classes for adults and children as well as food and wine tastings at the Grand Gourmet food exposition. The festival concludes with the Best of the Fest gala, which will take place after a celebrity chef cook-off, and includes a silent auction to benefit the Cooking with Kids non-profit organization.

Cooking classes are offered by participating restaurants and are free to pass holders. Classes are one-hour long, and class size is determined by each restaurant. Guests should call restaurants in advance to reserve their spaces. Class themes include: The ABCs of Sake, The Secrets of New Mexican Mole, Making Pizza and Holiday Gifts from Your Pantry.

A Gold Pass, priced at $35, grants admission to all events, except the Grand Gourmet and Best of the Fest Gala Dinner. For $160, guests can purchase a Red Pass, which provides admission to all events.
