American Eagle announced that it will offer a third direct flight between Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, and Santa Fe, N.M., beginning Feb. 11. The daily flights will travel between Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and Santa Fe County Municipal Airport (SAF).
The new flight is the third Santa Fe route to be added by the airline in recent months. In November 2009, American Eagle added a second daily, roundtrip flight between Santa Fe and Dallas and a roundtrip flight between Santa Fe and Los Angeles.
Flights from Santa Fe to Dallas are tentatively schedule to depart SAF at 8:15 a.m. and to arrive at DFW at 10:55 a.m. Flights from Dallas to Santa Fe are scheduled to depart DFW at 7:40 p.m. and to arrive at SAF at 8:30 p.m.
The existing Santa Fe to Los Angeles service as well, as the current flight from Santa Fe to Dallas, will remain the same for now. The additional daily flight anticipates improved connections for travelers to both cities.
