Many wine lovers dream of one day having the chance to get their hands dirty at a grape harvest. During the second annual Harvest Trail and Grand Tasting, Oregon visitors can make that dream a reality.

North Willamette Vintners presents the event, which takes place on Oct. 6, 2012, from 10 a.m.- 6 p.m. Throughout the day, participants get a glimpse into each stage of the harvest process.

Clients go on a guided bus tour to three wineries for complimentary tastings, nibbles and harvest preparation activities at each stop. They are invited to walk the vineyard, visit the crush pad and tour the winery to discover each step of the winemaking process with the professionals.

Tickets are $79 per person, which includes lunch and a grand tasting event at the Garden Vineyard.
