Fall foliage sightseers have some new tree-tracking tools to guide them to Oregon's best viewing venues.
A new Oregon Fall Foliage blog (oregonfallfoliage.wordpress.com) is providing clients with statewide foliage updates on peak viewing times, as well as other fall-related news and activities.
The blog is already seeing steady traffic from people looking for viewing venues, reaching 574 hits on its highest day. USA Today recently featured the Oregon Fall Foliage blog as a West Coast resource for tracking color and planning fall foliage getaways.
Meanwhile, Twitter users can receive foliage updates and share feedback about the season's scenery (twitter.com/ORFallFoliage). Travelers are also invited to view or post scenic fall photos in a new Oregon Fall Foliage Flickr group.
