Running Oct. 1-Nov. 30, the annual Oregon Bounty is celebrating the state’s fall harvest with two months of statewide travel experiences, fall harvest events and overnight packages at historic inns and hotels.
Packages are available at 150 lodging properties including luxurious inns like the Ashland Springs Hotel and Cannery Pier Hotel, and intimate bed and breakfasts like the Hood River B&B and Yamhill Vineyards B&B.
Every weekend in October and November, Portland’s distilleries are hosting self-guided walking tours including a distillery crawl, seminars and tastings. The Fresh Hop Beer “Tastivals,” produced by the Oregon Brewers Guild, highlight seasonal beers created with fresh hops from the September harvest, instead of traditional dried hops.
Oregon’s wine producers are opening their doors for special events, too, offering new releases and older vintages, barrel tastings, specialty foods and sales of limited-quantity wines.
Coastal culinary schools are offering Oregon Bounty classes paired with accommodations at local boutiques.
