A new guide to more than 100 restaurants, cafés, bakeries, brew pubs, wineries and coffee houses throughout Oregon's Lane County is now available.
The Eugene, Cascades and Coast Restaurant Guide, produced by Travel Lane County, provides details on restaurant locations, menu options, price ranges, accepted credit cards, wheelchair accessibility and venues that offer special entertainment.
The 36-page guide also highlights Lane County's commitment to local food sources, from organic farms to fresh seafood.
Lane County visitors generated more than $137 million on food and beverage-related expenditures, making it the leading category of visitor spending in 2008.
Travel agents and their clients can pick up a free copy of the guide at Travel Lane County's Visitor Information Center at 754 Olive St., in downtown Eugene, or by calling 541-484-5307. Guides are also available online.
