Kimpton's Hotel Monaco Portland is offering clients an opportunity to minimize their carbon footprint with the eco-inspired Carless Vacation package, catering to environmentally conscious travelers.

The package includes overnight accommodations, reimbursement for Trimet MAX Light Rail passes between the airport and hotel, use of the hotel's complimentary bikes, a three-hour bike tour of historic downtown Portland with Pedal Bike Tours, and two $10 vouchers for post- tour drinks and snacks from the sustainable kitchen of Red Star Tavern and Roast House, adjacent to the hotel.

"Portland is the most bike-friendly metropolis in the country," said Hotel Monaco general manager Craig Thompson. "We are offering this package for the growing number of eco-conscious travelers who want to share in the local experience by viewing our stunning parks, rivers, bridges and city streets by bike."

Package rates start at $249, based on double occupancy.
