Travelers who are eager to explore Portland’s Distillery Row have a new tool to help navigate the industrial area that is home to six of the city’s distillers.
The newly released Distillery Row Passport combines maps, product descriptions, special offers and space for tasting notes into one tidy package.
Available online or at any of the Distillery Row distilleries, the $20 passport waives tasting fees and provides discounts at nearby merchants like Beaker and Flask -- the 2009 Willamette Week Restaurant of the Year -- and Water Avenue Coffee.
Smartphone owners can also scan QR codes in the passport for additional offers and information on featured businesses.
The passport includes in-depth descriptions of the spirits produced by each distillery so visitors can learn more about the products and look back to see what they tasted and where.
