In a strip 16 blocks long and five blocks wide, five independent Portland distilleries are producing more than 20 unique liquors. Set within stumbling distance of them all is the Jupiter Hotel, which has rolled out a new package providing guests with a tour of the distilleries and their indulgences from absinthe and aquavit to vodka and gin.

In addition to the tour, clients booking the Distillery Row package get cocktail recipes from each distillery and two $20 gift certificates for the spirit of their choice. The package also provides breakfast for two, a Distillery Row map, accompanying brochures and hotel parking. The Jupiter can even suggest transportation to and from Distillery Row with PDX Pedicab or the Jupiter’s own Ride Me Bicycles (available for an additional fee).

“The local distillery movement in Portland is about to explode, and we want our hotel guests to be part of the revolution,” said Jupiter Hotel co-owner Tod Breslau. “The local and sustainable movement is happening so close to our property, and we respect the pioneers of the distillery movement who are motivated by passion for this craft.”

Distillery Row package rates start at $169 per night. The Jupiter Hotel's 80 contemporary guest rooms come with such amenities such as iPod and MP3 platforms and Wi Fi access.
