The Austin Film Festival will commemorate its 20th anniversary this year, with an outstanding line-up of new films from Oct. 24-31. Last year’s films included “Silver Linings Playbook,” “Flight,” “It’s a Disaster” and many others. This year, esteemed director Jonathan Demme of “Silence of the Lambs” will be celebrated, as well as Vince Gilligan, creator of the popular television show “Breaking Bad.” The festival will bring together directors, screenwriters and fans to trade ideas and answer questions at a variety of panels and Q&A sessions.

The Austin Film Festival is a non-profit organization dedicated to spotlighting the minds and imaginations behind the projects, as well as furthering the art, craft and business of filmmaking. It is known for providing an environment for the interactive exchange of ideas, supporting both legendary and emerging artists.
