Singapore Airlines is now offering a new service from Houston to Moscow with continuing service to Singapore. Four weekly nonstops using Boeing 777-300ER aircraft have been added to the airline’s Houston schedule.

Emirates Airlines now has daily nonstop service from IAH to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. Houston is only the second destination in the U.S. served by the Middle Eastern carrier.

Finally, the Houston Airport System, in partnership with Continental Airlines, has announced a $1.2 billion renovation project due to start later this year at IAH. The project is slated to last seven to 10 years and calls for expansion of the Automated People Mover and parking structure, major renovation of Terminal B and a north/south ramp replacement.
