Corpus Christi, Texas, will ring in the holiday season with an illuminated and festive marina, a laser light show, a children’s play area and more during the 29th Annual Harbor Lights Festival on Saturday, Dec. 4. The event is free to the public and is expected to attract upward of 20,000 attendees.
Kids will get to decorate and munch on gingerbread cookies in the Gingerbread Holiday Tree Village or they can romp around in the Children’s Activity Area, where kids can get their faces painted, write a postcard to Santa, play games or make Christmas ornaments.
Santa himself will lead a motorcade parade through Shoreline Blvd. to light the Tree of Lights, which will trigger the decorative lights on all participating downtown buildings.
Also on the bill are an illuminated boat parade, a laser light show set to holiday music, a barbeque cook-off and a floating stage in the marina basin for performances from local entertainers.
