The Watermark Hotel & Spa, located on the scenic River Walk of San Antonio, Texas, was recently rebranded to become Mokara Hotel & Spa — the first of a new line of luxury properties owned by Omni Hotels & Resorts.

Mokara promises to enhance the guest experience by elevating its standards. Among the improvements are new check-in procedures in order to ensure highly-personalized service, higher-quality hotel amenities, an optional bath-butler, complimentary beverage delivery and Wi-Fi access.

Spa guests can indulge in new steam rooms, saunas and whirlpools in addition to treatment rooms with Vichy showers. All spa therapists working at Mokara are now required to take part in advanced education sessions that exceed the industry standard. A new concierge will also wait on guests at the ritzy rooftop pool.

Additionally, enhancements have been made to Mokara’s menus. The new herb garden on the hotel’s rooftop will flavor unique dishes at the hotel’s new restaurant-in-the-making, Ostra. Mokara will also support the local food market by purchasing ingredients from Oak Hill Farms and Sandy Oaks Olive Orchard.
