Singapore Airlines Expands Flights From Houston

The carrier expands its offerings from Texas to Moscow and beyond

As of Dec. 18, Singapore Airlines expanded its schedule of services from Houston, Texas, to Moscow (continuing to Singapore) with a new Friday departure, bringing the total number of weekly flights to five (flights now depart on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays). The route is operated with new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft in a three-class configuration, including eight First Class, 42 Business Class and 228 Economy Class seats.

On Jan. 19, Singapore Airlines also resumed daily operations of its all-Business Class nonstop flights from Newark to Singapore, restoring previously suspended services on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Operated with Airbus A340-500 wide body aircraft, this 100-seat service offers one of the fastest options for travel between Southeast Asia and North America.

With these schedule expansions, Singapore Airlines will offer a total of 45 weekly services from the U.S. to Singapore, from gateways in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Houston, New York (JFK) and Newark.
