The SpeedZone amusement park in Dallas has recently added three new racetracks for to further enhance its offerings, which include looping roller coasters and two miniature golf courses.

One of these new tracks is ideal for families, the Thunder Road track. Racers can pilot single or double go-karts through rapid twists and turns and double-decked levels. The cost for one ride is $7.50 per person.

For $15 (for three runs), thrill-seekers can choose from one of six 300-horspower dragsters on the Top Eliminator Dragster track. Competition is head-to-head, and dragsters can reach 70 miles per hour in less than 3.5 seconds.

On the Slick Trax track — named for its polished concrete surface — as many as fifteen go-karts with rear-powered tires spin rapidly through every turn.

In addition to the newly constructed race tracks, visitors can burn rubber on the original turbo track, enjoy a looping rollercoaster, compete in a game of miniature golf, play video or action games and refuel at the cafe and bar.
