Upping the ante on new offerings with this year’s THETRADESHOW, which takes place in Orlando, Fla., from Sept. 12-14 at the Orange County Convention Center, organizers have put together a thorough lineup of events, activities and learning options of which agents can take advantage.

One of the highlights of this year’s show will be the Best Value Package, similar to an all-access pass that is available to agents for $99. The package, which has more than 20 special offers from local Orlando attractions and retailers, includes registration to THETRADESHOW and ASTA’s Retail Travel Leadership Summit, access to the trade show floor, to all educational offerings, to all delegate networking events and to post-conference recordings and presentations.

“Travel agents who take the time to attend THETRADESHOW will be able to take advantage of Orlando’s exciting entertainment and attractions with the Orlando VIP Perks package. Their time away from the office will be further enhanced and rewarded with fantastic education and networking opportunities,” said Chris Russo, president and chairman of ASTA, one of THETRADESHOW’s managing partners.

Other enhancements at THETRADESHOW include an exciting lineup of presentations giving agents new tools for using today’s technology. Presentations in the technology category include “Facebook Tips and Tricks,” “Blogging 101 — How to Start a Blog and Use it for Your Business,” “Choosing a CRM program — What to look for?,” “The Power of YouTube and Video Marketing,” “Top 10 Social Media Blunders and How to Avoid Them,” “Turn Your Website Into a Virtual Money Machine” and more.

In the Presentation Pavilion this year, agents can also find exciting presentations that include targeted topics. This year’s lineup includes informative seminars from Auto Europe, Starwood Pro and a resources presentation from Hilton Worldwide.

Thanks to the addition of an e-learning center, the information at this year’s THETRADESHOW can remain fresh in the minds of agents long after the show has closed. Agents no longer have to miss out on any seminars, either. Through a partnership with Content Management Corp., THETRADESHOW delegates will be able to access all of the show’s educational content online, after the show, and will also have access to an exhibitor directory and PDF handouts.

Travel agents who are unable to attend THETRADESHOW, but would like to experience THETRADESHOW’s educational programs through the e-learning center, without the live networking opportunities, may purchase a virtual-only registration for $89.
