Online luxury travel referral website Zicasso.com is making it easier for luxury travelers to connect with travel agents. The Mountain View, Calif.-based company recently unveiled new sales and marketing services on its site that enable agents to increase sales and improve efficiency via a specialized Web-based customer relationship management (CRM) system, targeted lead generation, coaching in sales and best practices and travel review content.
“Travelers want service, and more consumers want to work with a good offline agency,” Brian Tan, Zicasso CEO, told TravelAge West. “Travelers and agents need to find each other, and Zicasso helps connect the right travelers with the right travel specialists.”
When a consumer logs onto Zicasso, he/she is asked to fill out a comprehensive questionnaire that details his/her travel needs. Through careful analysis, that information is then passed along to select travel agents who have undergone Zicasso’s screening process which, according to Tan, only works with the top 10 percent of agents and travel suppliers. With the new services, agents can now manage those customer leads more easily as well as have access to training and technology tools aimed at increasing sales.
