Home2 Suites by Hilton celebrated its newest property’s grand opening onsite in Layton, Utah. The 107-room, four-story property is an extended-stay hotel designed for budget-conscious business and leisure travelers. It marks the brand’s second U.S. property.

At the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Home2 Suites executives joined Mayor Steve Curtis, representatives from developer and property manager Western States Lodging and Management, owner Summit Lodging and members of the local business community.

To commemorate the event, the brand announced that Western States Lodging and Management has selected the Utah Foster Care Foundation as the Home2 Suites’ local nonprofit partner. The Layton hotel will support the organization on an ongoing basis through a number of volunteer and fundraising initiatives.

“Home2 Suites is setting a brand standard for supporting communities with our Your2 Hands program, which highlights what people can do with their two hands to make a difference where they call home,” said Dawn Koenig, vice president of brand performance support for Homewood Suites and Home2 Suites by Hilton. “We believe it’s our responsibility to collaborate with the people, businesses and community groups where we put down roots to build lasting relationships with the community.”
