Home2 Suites by Hilton — a mid-tier, extended-stay hotel brand targeting budget-conscious business and leisure travelers — announced that it will break ground on its sixth U.S. property in West Valley City, Utah. The new property is Home2 Suites’ sixth U.S. property, although there are 75 more Home2 Suites planned for the U.S. and 30 that are currently in development.
The West Valley hotel is scheduled to open in November and will be located on West Parkway Boulevard in West Valley City. It will feature 79 suites, each with advanced kitchen and living amenities, as well as a 4,200-square-foot common area designed for work convenience and social connection. This space will be known as The Oasis, with large televisions, wireless Internet access and complimentary breakfast.
“The hotel is in an ideal area, located inside a business park with more than a million square feet of occupied office space and more than 15,000 full-time employees,” said Alma Erekson, owner of Hilton partners Inn Management, Inc. “We are excited to serve the people and guests of West Valley City.”
